• Dream it.

Our founder is a neurological community physiotherapist. In working with her clients she noted a distinct lack of availability of accessible spaces for people with neurological injury or differently abled bodies to move and explore movement outside of a hospital or clinic space. This was the catalyst for her imagining of Innervation Lab. Innervation Lab is an inclusive space that caters to all abilities, all mobilities and all people to have a safe environment to practice movement.

  • Build it.

Building Innervation Lab has been and continues to be a collaborative process. We have consulted our community of differently abled people and those with neurodivergence to design a space that feels safe, inclusive and supportive. We won’t always get it right but we welcome you to help us ensure you get the experience you need so that you can move your body.

  • Grow it.

And here we are today. We have a vision and are strong in our mission to revolutionise how mainstream spaces can be accessed by the disabled community. We will continue to grow. We will continue to provide visibility to disability and ensure there is an Innveration Lab in every major city nationally.

Why Innervate?

No, it isn’t a typo. Innervation is the input our muscles require from our nerves to contract and for bodies to move. Innovate is the process of introducing something new. We believe that Innervation Lab achieves both of these things

Your disability does not determine where you can go, it merely determines where you start
